more about me

I am a graphic designer, living in Kent with my partner and two sons. I love to be outdoors; ideally on a walk through the Darent Valley en route to the pub.

I grew up in Essex, before leaving home to study Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University. I have since worked continuously within London at creative agencies, an architectural firm and in-house design studios. In 2020 I began freelancing and have worked with clients including the National Trust, Glyndebourne and Crew Clothing.

During the past few years I have also been creating a series of illustrated maps. In an attempt to encourage my children to join me in exploring our local area I downloaded the Ordnance Survey app and began taking them out on daily walks. As a result we discovered some local (not so) hidden gems. I soon started sketching maps of our trails; illustrating my family's favourite spots to ensure we didn't forget this unique time. As the months progressed, our walks continued and my illustrations developed into a small business entitled Debbie Draws Maps, and I now offer a range of giftable homewares featuring my favourite areas and their landmarks.

Asides from illustrating maps (and walks to the pub) I also enjoy working on an array of creative projects and have extensive experience in presentation design, retail design, 3D visualisation, artworking, branding and digital assets.
